Hannah joined DONUT Studios in 2022 after her mum suggested coming to have a look and meet with Rachel.

Since joining, Hannah says her artwork has got a lot better. The Creative Facilitators will often suggest different art ideas and mediums to try, and Hannah will choose what she'd like to do for the day.

Hannah's favourite thing to do at the studio is work on mixed media pieces, she enjoys gluing beads and trinkets and making this into a picture. This involves collecting beads, buttons, little bits of trash and treasure that would otherwise be thrown away, and using the interesting shapes and colours to transform into beautiful artwork.

Several of Hannah's artworks have been featured in the studio's exhibitions, an experience that fills her with a sense of pride. She holds a deep affection for the people at DONUT Studios and loves being part of the community.

Hannah says:

"I feel more confident about my art after starting at DONUT Studios. I like everyone and I love being part of the studio. Having music at the studio is great and my favourite piece of art I created is my painting of Ken from Barbie."
