MEET THE TEAM

DONUT Studios employs a diverse and passionate team of creative facilitators who bring a wide range of skills, experiences, and backgrounds to support artists and musicians with disabilities.


Our incredible team have backgrounds in education, art, music, well-being, and various creative fields, and they are dedicated to nurturing creativity, self-expression, and personal growth in the participants.


Their combined expertise fosters an inclusive and supportive environment that values individual interests and encourages experimentation, ensuring that every participant can explore their creative potential and enjoy a fulfilling artistic experience.

RACHEL

Manager of People & Practice

Rachel has a background in psychology and sociology and over 30 years of experience in the out-of-home care field. With a passion for human rights she now finds joy in her role within the disability field where she gets to watch the creative process and development of artists and musicians.

STACEY

Team Leader

Stacey is dedicated to fostering creativity and boosting the confidence of adults and young individuals, in a variety of art mediums, merging her background in Education Support and Art Therapy. 

ALICIA

Second in Charge

Alicia is a self-taught artist with experience in acrylic painting and combines her 10 years of nursing experience with her passion for supporting others in a creative environment.

SEBASTIAN

Creative Facilitator

Sebastian brings over four years of experience working with people with disabilities and specializing in animation, voice acting, and music.

AMANDA

Creative Facilitator

Amanda holds degrees in Visual Arts and Professional Writing, along with a Certificate IV in Disability Support. She's passionate about fostering creative exploration and self-expression.

TEAGAN

Creative Facilitator

Teagan has two decades of experience in the disability industry, and provides person-centered, encouraging experiences for individuals to explore their creative potential, particularly in ceramics and printmaking.

COLLEEN

Creative Facilitator

Colleen has 12 years' experience working in the disability sector and she is enthusiastic about nurturing people's strengths, independence, and creative expression.

KELLIE

Creative Facilitator

Kellie specializes in teaching social/emotional, mindfulness, and resilience programs, and as a qualified yoga instructor, has a passion for mindfulness and meditation.

KRYSTAL

Creative Facilitator

Krystal holds a diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs, and is dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health issues, advocating for the vulnerable in the community, and fostering confidence and hope for a better future.

NEIL

Creative Facilitator

Neil has spent his life pursuing creativity across several mediums including music, audio production and today through working with timber.

CARLO

Creative Facilitator

Carlo is qualified Drama and Media studies teacher. As an actor and theatre maker Carlo acted, wrote, produced and directed numerous plays.  

Carlo is also interested in art direction, costume and set design.

Creative Facilitator

Jodi is excited to help people unlock their creative potential in whatever form it comes, whether painting and drawing, learning guitar and writing songs...anything is possible!

LEO

Creative Facilitator

Leo is a visual artist. Over the past decade he has been involved in exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Leo is passionate about painting, music and helping others to realise their true creative potential.

EDEN

Creative Facilitator

Eden has completed her Certificate 3 in Individual Support and loves being busy, learning new skills, and creating a special bond with others. Eden always has a smile on her face and brings the best out in everyone!

LEIGH

Creative Facilitator

Leigh is an experienced visual artist who loves to foster creativity in others and pass along his knowledge. He is a trained painter, having studied at NMIT and the VCA, and specialises in still life and portraiture.

CREATIVE FACILITIATORS?

Submit a Referral

Joining DONUT Studios is easy if you have an NDIS plan. Our studio supports people living with disabilities through NDIS funding. To get started, all you need to do is fill out our referral form and submit it online.


You can do this yourself, or a carer, parent, or support coordinator can help you with it. Once we receive your referral, someone from our team will get in touch with you to discuss how we can support you.
