TRENT'S STORY
Trent joined DONUT Studios because he was looking for a place where he would fit in and feel a sense of community.
Trent says since joining DONUT Studios he feels happy because he has met lots of new people, his art is improving and he is learning lots of new things.
When asked if he has a favourite art style or technique at the studio, Trent responded:
“I’ve learnt to do collage and I’m really enjoying this new style that I never knew before.”
For Trent, a big part of his enjoyment at the studio is all the new friends he’s made. He feels happy to try anything because he knows everyone is supportive and encouraging, even if the art doesn’t turn out good. His favourite moment so far was learning to make clay ducks with Creative Facilitator Abi.
Trent participated in the 2023 POP! Exhibition held by DONUT Studios, and it made Trent very proud to share this achievement with his mum.
We asked Trent what makes DONUT Studios a special place to be, and he said:
“I can always be the BEST I can be!”
… and we think that makes Trent pretty special.
